When Anxiety Roars

Today's children and teenagers are anxious about many things. In addition to the stressors common to any generation—family issues, financial stability, pressure from school or sports—these young people also have to worry about social media posts, ideological injustice, and civil unrest. No one should have the joy of life inhibited by their struggle with anxiety.

During this 7-week class we will explore the topic of anxiety from early child development into young adulthood. Together we will work through the book, When Anxiety Roars by Jean Holthaus which will cover such topics as; how a child's view of God affects anxiety, the biology and behavior associated with high anxiety, and taming those anxious thoughts.

Cost: $16 (covers the cost of the book)
