In Ephesians 6:4, Paul calls on parents and guardians to “bring up children in the training and instructions of the Lord.” That's a big job! Parents and guardians are called to raise their children to the glory of Christ–to know Him, to love Him, and to live their lives for Him.
But, God has not called families to do this alone! At our Parent Commitment service, as the families are committing and promising that they will seek to raise their children to the glory of Christ, their community gets to come alongside them to pray, encourage, and support them in their journey!
During our 4PM service on Sunday, March 30, we will get to celebrate these families in their commitment of raising their children toward a relationship with Jesus, teaching them to love, trust, and follow God. Dessert reception to follow.
We will also briefly celebrate as a whole church during the Sunday morning services on March 30.
Required Parent Commitment Class is on Wednesday, March 19, at 6:30 PM.
